Sarah Huckabee Sanders Asked to Leave Little Rock Restaurant Amid Controversy

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave an Arkansas restaurant due to staff and guest discomfort. This incident echoes her 2018 dismissal from the Red Hen, sparking a debate over hospitality and politics.

In a blog post on X, Sanders wrote, “Recently I was having lunch with 2 other mothers at a restaurant when the proprietor approached a participant of the State Police Exec Defense Information and claimed my visibility made their staff members really feel endangered and told us to leave.”

Conflicting Accounts of the Restaurant Incident

The restaurant, The Croissanterie in Little Rock, gave a much more measured account in a statement first reported by THV11. It said staff members and various other diners had “raised questions” concerning Sanders and her security group remaining there, and management wrapped up that every alternative lugged effects.

The Croissanterie also said it did “not remember any statements suggesting that anyone really felt endangered,” drawing a contrast with Sanders’ description.
